Edward-Brooks Limited was formed as a partnership in November 2002 by Mark Yates, towards the end of 2004 Mark purchased the overall interest and has continued to develop the selective management recruitment company that was initially set up, this includes increasing the London base and now having a full time consultant and associate in the capital as well as his own presence in the offices in Sussex and London, enabling them to seek further quality candidates and clients, enhancing further the company's profile.
The Company is also able to pursue Hotel Management contracts and at present a proposed client is under review.
At the same time the company will continue to serve high profile establishments within the hospitality market, offering the excellent service to date that has developed strong relationships within all sectors of the industry throughout the United Kingdom. In all his roles, whether in Front Office Management at the Savoy Hotel London, General Management of Country House Hotels or in Hotels and Private Club Project Management overseas and United Kingdom.
Mark's early training at all levels of the industry, provides a true understanding of the business that he is suited to and regularly meets client and candidate expectations. To date, he has achieved a reputation for introducing quality candidates using his experience and commitment to fulfil the requirements of the client. One of Mark's active interests is being a Committee Member of the Savoy Society and Honoury Treasurer. This association is made up of ex Senior employees of the former Savoy Hotel Group in London consisting of: The Berkeley Hotel, The Connaught, Claridges and The Savoy Hotel itself. During the late 80's, Mark held a senior management position within the Front Office.
